Production

Finishing
With an in-house hero finishing suite and an experienced colorist, we provide professional color grading and glass to glass color pipeline consulting.
Immersive Content
From 360° VFX plates for Virtual Production to 3D content, we are experts in shooting immersive material and supporting workflows. We provide services for the entire pipeline, including planning, budgeting, final stitching and color grading.
Consulting
Production – Providing expertise in cameras, rigs, color pipelines, infrastructure, dailies, and general production workflows, including cloud pipelines.
Post-production – Expert knowledge and experience with post production workflows, remote pipelines, dailies workflows, archive and deliverables for any non-linear platform (Avid, Adobe, Resolve, Baselight, etc.)
Virtual production – Expertise in cameras and rigs, best practices, color pipeline, and stitching, in addition to playout systems.
Archive – expert knowledge in best practices for production asset management and archive methods for both cloud and local archive.

About The Founders
Dumpster Dive Studio was founded by a couple of people, each with over 25 years of experience in nearly every aspect of filmmaking at nearly every studio in the industry.
Michael Lafuente and JoAnne J. Kim have gotten a lot of shit done in their careers supporting filmmakers, productions, and large Hollywood studios. They’ve been at the forefront of the creative process and have built studio infrastructures, production pipelines, worked on set around the world and have collaborated on some major projects. They bring that experience and professionalism into the foundation and heart of Dumpster Dive Studio to provide high end cinematic quality productions.
